Meet Charles & Mary Cole

It seems as though Charles has been involved with something that has 4 or 18 wheels all of his life. Charles is a retired over-the-road driver who logged a Million Mile Award and a 10 year safety award after thirty-five years driving an eighteen wheeler. Charles worked on a horse and cattle ranch for 10 years and is currently working part-time at Pro-Tech Auto, just to keep him from driving Mary crazy! Charles likes to say, “ If I haven’t been there, I have been close.”

Charles became interested in Corvettes having seen his first split window. He has owned a 1986 coupe, 1987 coupe, 2001 coupe and his newest baby, a Le Mans Blue 2006 convertible. He has also owned a 2003 PT Cruiser GT Turbo with a slapstick transmission with 230 hp. WOW-that’s a lot of power for such a small car.

Charles and Mary joined NTCC in 2003 and participate in many of the clubs activities. The most fun in a Corvette was a trip to Bowling Green, Kentucky with a pass through Mississippi.

Charles hobbies have included over the years working on his sons’ muscle cars and enjoying his Corvettes.

Charles and Mary are originally from Arkansas where they met each other when they were 14 years old. They have been married 52 years. Congratulations!!!!

Charles and Mary have 2 sons and 1 granddaughter.
