March 29, 2025 – Cruise Kilgore / Tyler, TX
Eleven Corvettes and one SOB (some other brand) make the cruise to Kilgore and Tyler on March 29, 2025. The first stop was lunch at the Country Tavern located on a farm road between Kilgore & Tyler. After a very good lunch the group went to the East Texas Oil Museum at Kilgore College. Following a history lesson on Kilgore, we strolled down the sidewalks of Boom Town. Next was a short film with footage from that period which was very informative. After our visit to Kilgore we went to Tyler and drove the Azalea Trail. The older homes had multiple color azaleas which was worth the drive. After that everyone headed home after a great day of touring and friendship. Start think of where you would like to lead the club next.
